Entry-Level
Project Composite Engineer
(no experience required)
–
Our engineers generate innovative and practical
solutions to problems and perform fundamental
engineering analysis to validate designs working
with composites materials such as graphite
reinforcement and epoxy resin. Engineers then
go to the floor and participate in making the
part and documenting the process through first
article acceptance and the transition to
full-scale production. In addition, engineers
support sales efforts by listening to customers
and generating estimates and proposals to solve
problems. Engineers work on design problems,
production issues, process improvement, FEA, and
destructive testing. Thus, allowing engineers
satisfaction for a start to finish job.
Engineers also design production tooling,
specify and design plant equipment, develop
manufacturing processes, and write process
documentation and manufacturing instructions.
Coordinate designs with CAD technicians.

applications. Starting salary will depend upon
qualifications. Typical customers are Boeing,
Northrop and L3 Communications.

Non-Destructive
Testing/Inspection Technician Level II
This position is open to detail oriented
individuals with an Associate’s Degree or
equivalent job experience. Prior experience with
quality assurance processes is helpful; however,
it is not required. The individual must be able
to perform all mathematical skills and
calculations through Algebra 1, including
converting Metric to English units. Level II
Background knowledge of NDI procedures in
Ultrasonic Testing are needed in order to
perform testing.
As
a Level II Non-Destructive Testing/Inspection Technician,
the individual will be required to perform
A-Scan NDI on parts, complete written procedures
for the NDI of parts, perform in-process NDI
inspections on parts that require it, write
reports on parts inspected, maintain NDI
equipment, pack and ship product as required,
and file and maintain NDI records. As an
employee in this department, computer skills are
needed in order to make forms, spreadsheets,
charts and reports.
In
this position, necessary duties in
Non-Destructive Testing/Inspection are performed
in order to support the performance of the Royal
Plastic Mfg., Inc. quality assurance department.
The employee will receive on-going training in
blue print reading and geometric tolerances, NDI
testing, and computer systems.
